Here is Schedule of Family Archives Restoration and Digitization Services in West Jakarta

The West Jakarta Library and Archives (Pusip) Sub-agency holds a family archive restoration and digitization service at the Rawa Buaya Urban Village Office, Cengkareng. Residents can take advantage of this pick-up service for three days, precisely on Wednesday (3/10), Friday (3/12) and Monday (3/15) from 9 AM -  3 PM.

Flood victims whose documents are damaged will go through the restoration process

West Jakarta Pusip Sub-agency Head Ahmad Yani said, the service was done after the floods hit a number of residential areas in West Jakarta several weeks ago.

"Flood victims whose documents are damaged will go through the restoration process. Afterwards, the document will be archived digitally. Today we have served five persons. Each document can take up to five minutes at most," he expressed, at the Rawa Buaya Urban Village Office, Wednesday (3/10).

Archival Restoration Service Opened for People Affected by Flooding in Cawang

Similar service would also be held in other urban villages, as follows:

1. Kembangan Utara Urban Village (March 16-18)

- At Gajah Tunggal and Kampung Baru RPTRAs, RT 01/01, at 9 AM to 3 PM

2. Kedoya Selatan Urban Village (March 19, 22 and 23)

- At Jalan Raya Kedoya Selatan, RW 05, at 9 AM to 3 PM

3. Kedoya Utara Urban Village (March 24-26)

- At Kedoya Utara RPTRA, Jalan Ratu Mawar L, RT 02/01, at 9 AM to 3 PM

As for service types of documents or archives that can be restored, such as diplomas, family cards (KK), birth certificates, marriage books, land certificates and other important documents. It was prioritized for documents that were in damaged condition.

Archive Division Acting Head Yudi Widoyoko added that his party had coordinated with the urban village to socialize it to residents.

He urged residents who came to need these services to always implement the health protocol for preventing COVID-19.

"Certainly this is free of charge. Our officers also implement strict health protocols during the service," he closed.
